Lakeside Gondola Residence Lodge

The stay at Gondola Lodge in Heavenly / South Lake Tahoe was great! Quaint size / small kitchen, but awesome outdoor area and laundry just outside the door was very good to have. It was a great place for what we needed, most of all - excellent location! Right in downtown Heavenly Village and like 300 yards / 5 minute easy walk to the main Gondola which takes you to the top of Heavenly ski lifts. Made logistics skiing very very easy.

I almost don't want to write this review (to keep this place a secret)! It was very QUIET & CONVENIENT! Had everything we needed to eat and prepare our meals in the room. The rooms had very nice, possibly granite counters and the bathroom was very clean, up to date, and tile throughout. The customer service was top notch considering no office on site. The "yard" area came equip with Adirondack chairs, propane fire pits and BBQ grills. The walk to the Gondola was literally 0.16 mile and took 3minutes. We had the hot tub to ourselves on a Saturday afternoon. The complimentary shot glasses were a great touch. We can't wait to stay again.

We really enjoyed our stay and will be surely staying at the same resort in future too. Jennifer is an amazing host! Super convenient location with beach, food, drinks, heavenly village just a few minutes of walk away. Free and secure parking, clean rooms and decent amenities!

Perfect location! Gondola and plenty of restaurants are within walking or a short distance. Room is spacious and communication was timely.

The room was very nice and included a small little back area to sit in private if desired as well as seats in front of the room. A huge plus for us was the gated parking to provide even more sense of security. The location was the absolute best! Walking distance to shops and weekend entertainment, plus a nice 10 minute walk to a private beach section of the lake. What really was the best was the service, the on-site person is a great bonus, but the manager of the property checking in about halfway through our time there making sure everything was still going well or what they could do to make it better was really great and made us feel like we were appreciated. The place was in a quiet section as well so it was nice to come back after walking all day and just relax. Definitely will come back and stay here!

We absolutely loved our stay at Lakeside Gondola Lodge! We made last minute reservations as we drove to South Lake Tahoe for a weeklong vacation. Online reservations were simple and straightforward. We had reserved a studio, but were offered an upgraded, larger, two bedroom two bath unit prior to our arrival. What an awesome surprise! The property was clean, with beautifully updated units that included granite countertops, dual sinks, jetted tub, tiled shower, and fireplaces in every room. Air conditioning kept the unit cool. The pool and hot tub were crystal clear, perfect temperature, and had great loungers to soak up the sun. The property is perfectly located just a few short blocks to the beautiful private Lakeside Beach; the Gondola Lodge provides low cost passes to the private beach for guests. Heavenly Village and Stateline casinos are a short one block walk away. We loved the free gated parking on site. It made our trip so much more relaxed. We didn’t have to worry about parking, and could easily walk to everything near Heavenly and Stateline. Staff was attentive, responsive, and made sure we had everything we needed. The property is a “no party” property, so it was quiet and relaxed both day and night. There are also lots of outdoor spaces, cool sitting areas, and BBQ grills available for guests to enjoy the beautiful scenery and weather. We travel to SLT regularly- it is one of our favorite destinations. We highly recommend the Lakeside Gondola Lodge to anyone who wishes to explore all that South Lake Tahoe has to offer - winter or summer!

Loved staying at the Gondola Lodge in Tahoe. Very clean, great location, and amenities were pretty good. Room was spacious and very quiet. Loved the fireplace and the jetted bathtub—definitely made a difference. I’d stay again!

Wonderful customer service, very prompt at responding to any concerns in regards to the stay. Also very accommodating when it comes to concerns uncontrolled by the lodge, at a very reasonable solution if not more. (We came during summer and there was no central AC, but they did provide portable AC units at certain rooms, not every room had one therefore we did complaint in regards to a dining/kitchen area being hot during warm weather, that of which the team responded promptly with great accommodations; should be added on the booking details of how AC would be distributed during summertime, other than that everything was amazing!) I love how everything was spacious and comfortable. Very home like, great for family’s. I loved how each restroom was spacious and exemplary. I love the comfortable beddings and pillows. Would definitely choose this lodge again. Thank you so much!
